Summer school class, Survivor, kid in the wilderness, had a guest speaker, Mr. Benny Terrell from the Missouri Conservation forest department. He explained the gear that the firefighters use, how to become a firefighter and work with the forestry department and encourage the students to examine working for the local fire department as junior firefighters. The kids had a great time, trying on all of the gear and working with some of the tools.
