The district has been blessed with Mrs. Tellman’s services as a volunteer in Mrs. Woodruff’s kindergarten classroom for several years now and she will now take on the role as a paraprofessional. Mrs. Tellman loves working with children, especially those who need a little extra support. She enjoys learning different techniques from teachers’ to help students learn in the way that is best for them. She also enjoys learning from students-as they are always excited to share what they have learned in their classroom.
Mrs. Tellman comes to the district from being retired for the last 11 years! She retired from the State of Missouri’s Securities Division as an auditor where she had worked since she graduated from High School. While working for the division she obtained her degree in business administration.
Stacey and her husband, Gerry have been married for over 40 years. They have two children, Grant and Bryce and a delightful granddaughter named Skylar, and a dog named Sam.
When asked about starting at the district, Mrs. Tellman replied stating, “I am ready for the challenge of trying my hardest to help students learn”. Her favorite quote is, “If at first you don’t succeed, try, try again!”
