Mrs. Stockton’s third graders found some “tomatoes” on a tree by the track. After further investigation they learned they were actually persimmons. They learned about the folklore of the inside of the seed and with the teacher’s assistance they cut open a few seeds.

Yesterday morning we competed in Linn. This is a big meet with over 100 runners in some races and the competition is most definitely there!
Our kids walked away with 5 medals. All of them getting under 20th place! Our boys varsity team took 6th (which is also awesome!). We have some very exciting things with XC and I can't wait to see what the rest of the season holds. Next meet is a MS meet in Bourbon Tuesday, and MS/HS on Thursday in Steelville!
September 21st is our home meet in Belle @ 4 at the park! We would love to have your support!
