Maries Co. R 2 Open House will be held at all buildings on August 15, 2024 from 4:30 to 7:00. Bus drivers will be present to help with any transportation questions or changes.

As we start the school year- we encourage all parents and grandparent's to read with their student even if their student can read by themselves.

The Board of Education declared a mobile deck from the Bland Middle School as a surplus item. The deck is 23'6" x 5'6". It can be viewed behind the Bland Middle School. For more information, please contact Tony Gieck at 573-859-3800 extension 1600. Bids are due in the Administration Building by August 15, 2024 at 4:00 pm. The Board has the right to refuse all bids.


The Board of Education approved a revised Continuous School Improvement Plan (CSIP) at the July Board of Education meeting. The CSIP plan and monitoring tool are available on the district website.

Elementary Supply List for 2024 -2025. The Middle School supply list will be available after August 1. High School supply list will be given out by the individual teachers at Open House.

Alexis Kramer is participating in the Missouri Youth Tour in Washington DC.


Mrs. Trentmann's class made s’mores with a solar oven that they made in class. They also worked on making their own bracelets.



BMS Attendance Recognition: 18 students with nearly perfect attendance at Bland Middle School.

Dwight Warnke from the MO Dept of Conservation came yesterday to speak with the Survivor class about fur bearers and mammals in Missouri. Pretty neat!
