DUE TO THE UPCOMING WEATHER: Tonight's basketball games against Stoutland will still begin at 5:30. We will only be playing a Varsity girls game and a Varsity boys game in order to get our athletes home earlier this evening. There will be no JV game.

Expectations of winter weather are all over the news, and we are keeping a close eye on it! As a reminder - we will communicate school closures, early dismissals, late starts, or snow routes only through our MariesR2 App first. We will then send a notification to your email or SMS through the Lumen Portal. We will use the phone number and email address on file to send you messages. The last step is to notify through the media (newspaper, radio, social media).
The information will always be available on the district's website.

Senior Parents: A few senior parents are starting to organize a Project Graduation party for the 2022 seniors. The first meeting is at 6:30 pm on Thursday, Feb. 10 at the First Christian Church in Belle, to begin the planning and fundraising. All senior parents are invited. Parents of seniors: a senior picture and a baby picture are due to Ms. Sutton by the end of February for the yearbook and senior slideshow. If you could send them in with your student's name attached, I would greatly appreciate it! I can take submissions via email or physical copies can be brought in (which will be returned to your student). If scanning and emailing, please send the senior picture and the baby picture as separate attachments to asutton@mariesr2.org with your student's name in the email subject line.

The Boys Basketball game scheduled for tomorrow against Bourbon has been POSTPONED due to illness in the Bourbon program. A make up date is to be determined.
Congratulations to the freshman boys team who played an awesome game tonight against Sullivan in the Owensville tournament winning 57-32!! They will play again tomorrow evening at the Owensville Elementary School.
Belle Elementary- In support of the Chiefs going to the AFC Championship on Sunday, Belle Elementary will be wearing red or Chiefs gear to school on Friday, January 28th. GO CHIEFS!

If you have a Junior or a Senior who is enrolled in dual credit this semester, your child may be eligible for a scholarship. Priority deadline is February 1, 2022.
Middle School Track and Field Parent Meeting will be held February 1 at 6:45 at the Bland Middle School.
